  • Isn't ASMR just sounds of people chewing and stuff?
This is an often misunderstood part of ASMR due to the rise in popularity of ASMR videos on social media. ASMR is more than just sound. In fact, it stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response which is that tingly, goosebump feeling we can when someone blows on our neck, gently touches our back or plays with our hair.
  • Is there a way to communicate with the ASMR artist during the session?
The ASMR practitioner is here to make your experience as comfortable and easeful as possible. Communication is encouraged as needed at any point during the session.
  • How does a live ASMR session work?
A live, in-person ASMR session typically involves an individual known as an ASMR practitioner performing various sensory triggers in a controlled environment to induce Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) in the recipient. Here's an explanation of how it works: The ASMR session takes place in a calming and comfortable room that is designed to promote relaxation. ASMR triggers are practiced over the course of the session. This can include whispering, tapping, brushing, scratching, gentle touch, personal attention, and others. The practitioner tailors the session based on these preferences. One common aspect of ASMR sessions is providing personal attention to the recipient. The artist may simulate tasks like giving a gentle scalp massage, to trigger the ASMR response. The ASMR practitioner concludes the session.
  • I have ticklish feet and hate having my ears touched. Can I still do the session?
Yes! We work with a variety of bodies, and the nature of touch and what feels good is deeply personal to each person. We ask you to communicate any preferences prior to and during the session to ensure you have the best possible experience.
  • Do I need any special equipment or headphones for a live ASMR session?
You only need to bring yourself! A weighted eyemask will be provided upon settling in.
  • Is it possible to cancel or reschedule my session?
Sessions can be rescheduled once if done so in a 24 hour period or more, prior to the session. Session canceled in a 12 hour period prior to the session will trigger a 50% credit to be used towards future bookings.
  • What should I wear to my session?
When possible, please dress comfortably and try to wear a tshirt or tank top. This will help you have the best experience during your session.
