Meet the Team

Aimee
WhisperWave Sensory Specialist
Aimee brings an intuitive and attentive flair to sensory care that's shaped by a sincere fascination with how touch and sound can create a profound sense of calm.
Early in her career, Aimee worked closely with neurodivergent children, where she used gentle, sensory-based tools and techniques to help create a sense of ease and regulation. That experience left a lasting impression on her sparking curiosity about how these same practices could be thoughtfully adapted for adults.
At WhisperWave, Aimee holds sessions that feel grounding, and calming. She is passionate about helping clients slow down, settle into their bodies, and access a deeper rest that can often feels out of reach in daily life.
Each session with Aimee is guided by presence, and care.

Julia
WhisperWave Sensory Specialist
Julia is a strong believer in the power of touch. In a time marked by rapid technological change, growing disconnection, and a culture that often encourages numbing rather than feeling, she believes the most effective way to ground ourselves is by awakening the senses and returning to our natural need for human connection.
Julia’s journey with sensory wellness began in infancy, when her mother would gently trace her skin with her fingernails to help her relax. Though many people leave behind this primal form of nervous system regulation as they grow older, Julia continued to seek it out, later finding resonance with the ASMR community online and incorporating similar sensory wellness techniques into her own self-soothing practices.
She feels deeply grateful to be part of WhisperWave’s mission, helping others reconnect with themselves, experience moments of calm, and rediscover a sense of inner peace and personal power.

Rebecca
Owner and Sensory Specialist
Rebecca started WhisperWave in 2024 while searching for the same service and finding that it didn't yet exist locally.
An entrepreneur with a passion for nervous system health, WhisperWave was born out of a deep desire to give people in fast-paced NYC a space to rest and receive gentle, caring touch.
Growing up, Rebecca regularly experienced ASMR, not yet having the language to explain the phenomena. What she did know was that certain kinds of care left her feeling more at peace in herself. Many years later she is happy to bring that same wonderful feeling and a sense of nostalgia to the clients who frequent her studio.
